Refund Policy

Thank you so much for supporting Business of Making. Every guide, template and calculator in this store has been made with a lot of love and real experience, and I want you to be happy with what you buy. Here’s how refunds work for digital products.

Digital downloads
All products in the Business of Making store are digital downloads, delivered instantly by email after purchase. Because digital files can’t be returned once they’ve been accessed, we don’t offer refunds for change of mind. Please read the product description carefully before you buy, and if you have any questions, get in touch first. I’m always happy to help you work out if something is the right fit.

If something’s not right
If your file won’t open, the Canva template link isn’t working, or you haven’t received your download, please email us and we’ll fix it or send it again. If we can’t resolve the issue, we’ll give you a full refund.

If a product isn’t as described, we’ll give you a refund.

Duplicate purchases
If you’ve accidentally bought the same product twice, let us know and we’ll refund the duplicate order.

Bought the wrong product?
If you’ve purchased the wrong product and haven’t downloaded the file yet, contact us and we’ll happily swap it for the one you meant to buy. Once a file has been downloaded, we’re unable to offer a swap.

Discount codes
Discount codes can’t be added after an order has been placed.

How to get in touch
Please contact us within 14 days of your purchase at bec@businessofmaking.com.au with your order number and a quick note about the issue. We’ll get back to you as soon as we can.

Your rights
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, and you’re entitled to a remedy if a product has a major failure or isn’t as described.
